City of Hope’s Los Angeles Real Estate & Construction Industries (LARE) Council

On April 27^th , as a recent member of the City of Hope’s Los Angeles Real Estate & Construction Industries (LARE) Council, Citadel’s Principal, Loren Witkin, along with other Council members, toured the City of Hope Duarte campus and listened first hand from lead researchers about the innovative work COH is doing with hard to treat cancers, including pediatric brain tumors and it’s patient-centric approach.  The progress that COH is making is astounding.   

LARE is comprised of executives from all aspects of the industry – construction, development, finance, insurance, legal, management, parking and more. Founded in 1996 by Richard Ziman, the LARE Council has raised over $22 million to benefit groundbreaking research at COH.   Citadel is proud to be contributing to such a worthwhile organization.

Citadel Supports Girls Inc.

Citadel's own Michelle Campbell attended Girls Inc's annual fundraising mixer Women for Girls event where they celebrated their graduating high school seniors and providing them with the necessary items to ensure a successful first year in college.

On Thursday, January 7, 2015, Loren Witkin, Kier DeLeo, and Jack Samuels were invited to represent Citadel as VIPs to Major League Soccer's newest team, the Los Angeles Football Club as the team ownership unveiled their colors, crest, and vision. Citadel is under contract to LAFC and Legends to provide environmental, health, and safety consulting services as part of the demolition of Los Angeles’ iconic L.A. Sports Arena and the redevelopment of the site with a state-of-the-art soccer only stadium in historic Exposition Park.

Shopping together, they provided holiday wish list items for each family member, as well as non-perishable food/grocery store gift cards to help them celebrate the season
