City of Hope’s Los Angeles Real Estate & Construction Industries (LARE) Council
On April 27th , as a recent member of the City of
Hope’s Los Angeles Real Estate & Construction Industries (LARE) Council,
Citadel’s Principal, Loren Witkin, along with other Council members, toured the
City of Hope Duarte campus and listened first hand from lead researchers about
the innovative work COH is doing with hard to treat cancers, including
pediatric brain tumors and it’s patient-centric approach. The progress
that COH is making is astounding.
LARE is comprised of executives from all aspects of the industry
– construction, development, finance, insurance, legal, management, parking and
more. Founded in 1996 by Richard Ziman, the LARE Council has raised over $22
million to benefit groundbreaking research at COH. Citadel is proud
to be contributing to such a worthwhile organization.
